When do I need to send in my donation for Traditional Giving? It is best to send in your donation as early as possible in the campaign. The campaign is 4 weeks long but the money collected is used for line items that start at the beginning of the school year. By sending your donation in early, you are helping us to budget better for the needs of our school.
How can I be sure that you received my donation? Acknowledgement of donations typically takes a week. It should be noted that the busiest week for donations is the last week of the campaign so acknowledgement will take longer at this point. If you would like immediate confirmation that your donation has been received, it is best to email mptsfundraising@gmail.com.
I am interested in having my employer match my Traditional Giving donation. Where can I find more info about matching gifts? Check here for a list of some local companies that match gifts and for more information on how to submit matching gifts.
I want to give to Traditional Giving but am concerned about confidentiality. All donations made to the Traditional Giving Campaign are kept completely confidential. This information is not shared within the PTA nor with those outside of the PTA.
How do I donate? This year all donations will be made through Membership Toolkit using PayPal. While a donation using PayPal through the Membership Toolkit Traditional Giving Donation Form is our preferred method of gift contribution, if PayPal isn’t an option for you, please reach out to mptsfundraising@gmail.com and we will work to ensure that your gift is applied correctly for Traditional Giving. Please consider that PayPal does charge MPTS a 1.99% service charge plus $0.49 for each transaction. If you wish to adjust your donation so that MPTS receives the full amount intended, an adjustment chart is displayed below for your benefit.
I would really like to make a bigger donation over a period of time rather than a smaller donation at this time. Can I pledge to give over time? Yes! I am paying via PayPal. Do I still need to complete the donation form? Yes, please! The form is very important in placing the donation with your child. Without the form, we have a very difficult time knowing to whom to send receipts, questions, etc. Donations made without forms take significantly more time to process than donations made with forms.
My child’s grandparents would like to make a donation. How can they do this? You can send them the link to Membership Toolkit to donate. The donation page is open to the public and we welcome and appreciate all gifts.
