MPTS is partnering with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Library’s Summer Break reading program. Students will use the Summer Break website or mobile app to log the minutes they read over the summer. Your child has already been registered on the website and will practice logging in during their Media special. Students can record minutes and earn prizes between June 7th and August 14th.
Please contact MillionMinutes.MPTS@gmail.com if you have any questions. It's time to order your child's supplies for the next school year. In addition to saving time and money, you will also help raise additional funds for MPTS by purchasing your school supplies via EduKit. Order online and search for Myers Park Traditional. Click HERE for pricing and additional information. When ordering please remember to order the supplies for your child's NEXT grade level (not the grade your child is in now). Ordering through EduKit is easy and your child's school supplies will be waiting for them in their classroom on the first day of school. The deadline to order online and have it delivered to your child’s classroom is June 20, 2021. Last chance ordering is available until July 25, 2021; however, the kit price may increase and shipping will not be free as it’ll be shipped to your home.
Questions? Contact Holly Boehm or Susan Campbell. We look forward to officially welcoming our new student families at our upcoming Beginners’ Day on May 6th. During this virtual event new families will have an opportunity to meet the MPTS team, learn more about our school, and receive important details about the 2021-2022 school year. A Zoom link was emailed on April 30th. If you have a lottery seat for the 2021-2022 school year and DID NOT receive the Zoom meeting ID or if you have questions please contact us at mptsnewfamilies@gmail.com.
Photo Request for ALL FamiliesIn the event that we are unable to return to school in time to take individual student photos to meet the yearbook print deadline, we are starting to work on a backup plan. Please submit a photo of your child - alone, from the chest up, at a reasonably close distance, and on a plain background - to mptsyearbook@yahoo.com. If you are unable to email it, please text to (704) 698-0691. Please include the correct spelling of your child's first/last name, grade level, and teacher. Candid Photos NeededPlanning for the 2020-2021 MPTS yearbook is underway and we need your help! We are in need of candid photos representing all grade levels which may include online learning, participating in a Specials class activity at home, Traditional Giving parade, packet pick up, carpool, Spirit Rock, in person learning, etc. All photos may be submitted via Photo Post which is a private sharing site where only the MPTS yearbook committee will see the photos. To upload please follow the below instructions:
