CMS and MPTS are in the process of planning for the 2nd semester (beginning January 2021) for all students in grades K-12. This takes into account both in-person vs. virtual learning, as well as the transportation needs of students. All parents will be asked to complete 2 different surveys per student enrolled in CMS.
**Both surveys are due by 5:00pm on Monday, November 30, 2020. Please note that the decision indicated on these forms is permanent and in-place for your student/family through May of 2021. CMS has made it clear that we are not able to change this at the school level past November 30th. Any family who does not fill out the survey by the deadline will be defaulted to their current choice of in-person vs. virtual and will NOT be eligible for CMS transportation.
Regardless of choice for semester 2, we do not anticipate classroom teacher reassignment for your student.
If you are currently in-person and you are electing to stay in-person for the second semester, please note that your student's A or B Group rotation will not change.

As a parent in today’s world, I understand that this is an enormous task to complete for your student(s), specifically in advance.
